Red Bull Ducati and Jeremy Seewer have formally parted ways following a difficult start to the 2026 MXGP World Championship season together.

Despite claiming multiple podiums last season onboard the Desmo450 MX with the previous Maddii Racing team, 31-year-old Swiss rider Seewer hasn’t been able to repeat that form with Louis Vosters’ Dutch organization.

According to Ducati Corse’s statement, the team will revert to a two-rider roster with Andrea Bonacorsi and Calvin Vlaanderen:

Ducati and Jeremy Seewer announce that they have mutually agreed to end the collaboration between the Swiss rider and the Red Bull Ducati Factory MXGP Team, with immediate effect.

Ducati’s factory team in the MXGP World Championship will continue its 2026 campaign with Andrea Bonacorsi and Calvin Vlaanderen, starting from the German Grand Prix at Teutschenthal, scheduled for May 30-31.

Ducati would like to thank Jeremy, with whom the Italian manufacturer achieved two podium finishes in 2025, taking third place at Frauenfeld (Switzerland) and Ernee (France), and wishes him all the best for the continuation of his career.

Seewer recorded a season-best result of 15th at the MXGP of Switzerland in March. His final appearance with Ducati in France on the weekend saw him go 21-16 for 19th overall, and he currently sits a lowly 22nd in the standings.
