GASGAS Junior Racing Team’s Seth Thomas successfully defended his 125cc 13-U15 Years Australian crown at the 2026 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX) in Shepparton, Victoria, celebrating title success following an action-filled week of competition between September 28-October 2.

Thomas was once again a high performer throughout race week aboard his GASGAS MC 125, taking two final victories on his way to a 1-3-1 scorecard and securing back-to-back Australian titles in the 125cc 13-U15 Years category.

The talented New South Welshman also featured at the front of the 250cc 13-U15 Years division on board his GASGAS MC 250F, claiming a final race victory and P2 overall to complete an impressive week with a championship and runner-up honours across his two classes.

GASGAS Junior Racing Team teammate Sidney Stephenson showed promising form during the early stages of the event, putting together a number of solid performances through the heat races. Unfortunately, an injury brought Stephenson’s AJMX campaign to a premature end and ruled him out of the remainder of the week.

Kyle Blunden, KTM Group Australia Motorsport Manager: “The GASGAS Junior Racing Team once again demonstrated the strength of its junior development program, highlighted by Seth Thomas successfully defending the 125cc 13-U15 Years Australian championship and adding a runner-up finish in the 250cc category. The wider GASGAS family also celebrated championship victories through Liam Millard and Rafael Rossiter, reinforcing the depth of young talent onboard the GASGAS brand. The KTM AJMX continues to be one of the most important development platforms in Australian motocross, and we’re proud to showcase GASGAS at this event.”

Thomas’ title defence and double podium performance capped off a successful week for the GASGAS Junior Racing Team in Shepparton, with the squad leaving the 2026 AJMX with another Australian championship to its name.

Adding to the success for GASGAS came courtesy of Liam Millard, who raced to the 85cc 12-U14 Years Australian title in Shepparton, and Rafael Rossiter, who claimed the 250cc 13-U15 Years crown, adding two more number-one plates to the GASGAS tally at the 2026 AJMX.
