Two-rider team confirmed on board Desmo450 MX Factory model.
Joe Rascal Racing has officially signed Matt Moss and Dylan Wills to lead its Ducati entry in the 2026 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship.
At 38, Moss will extend his professional career into the upcoming season, the 2013 and 2014 SX1 champion joining fellow supercross specialist Wills in the Brett Metcalfe-managed dealer team onboard Desmo450 MX Factory machinery.
After early-season injuries and an international schedule kept him out of AUSX through the majority of last season – only lining up for the AUSX Open in Melbourne, where he impressed in fourth overall – Moss has committed to contesting the entire series this year.
“I want to make the Aussie fans proud and give them some excitement this season,” commented Moss. “Joe Rascal has provided amazing support. The Ducati feels comfortable and it suits my forward riding style. I’m 100 percent committed. It’s only five rounds, but a lot happens each race, and I want to be in the fight at the end!”
Wills, meanwhile, has largely focused on AUSX since 2023. The 30-year-old finished ninth in the SX1 standings last year despite sitting out the Sydney round in Cronulla, and also finished inside the top-five at the prestigious AUSX Open.
“It’s such an honour to be taking the Ducati Desmo450 MX into the supercross stadiums for the first time in Australian history,” Wills said. “Joe Rascal Racing and Metty are working hard for myself and Matt, providing a really solid program – so far, it’s been unreal!
“Matt and I have been best mates and training partners for so many years, so to finally be teammates is just the coolest thing to me. It’s something like six weeks until we go racing, so it’s full-steam ahead now, and I’m keen to go racing with this new team.”
Operated by the group that took ownership of Ducati Melbourne last year, Joe Rascal Racing was formed this season alongside a desert racing effort led by Callum Norton, in addition to competing in the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup alongside select rounds of MotoGP.
