Quad Lock Honda has officially confirmed the signing of Michael Mosiman for the 2027 Monster Energy SMX World Championship, adding another established race winner to the team’s strengthened 250 program.

The 27-year-old arrives following three seasons with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing and will contest Monster Energy Supercross, Pro Motocross and the SMX post-season aboard CRF machinery.

Mosiman previously announced his departure from Star Racing earlier this month, with his move to the Australian-owned organization now confirmed as part of a bolstered 250 roster alongside Cameron McAdoo and returning New Zealander Brodie Connolly.

A 250SX West winner, Mosiman finished third in the 2022 regional championship with five podiums, while his 2026 campaign included two Supercross podiums before injuries interrupted his season – eventually claiming ninth in 250SX West and eighth in 250MX.

“I’ve watched this team grow and build momentum over the years,” Mosiman commented. “They’ve won races in the 250 class and achieved podiums in the 450 class. They seem to have their riders’ backs and do everything in their power to help them achieve their goals. I want to reach my potential and see how good I can become as an athlete.

“I pushed to be a part of this program because I believe this is a place where I can progress my skills, develop the motorcycle and put myself in a position to fight for championships. Kevin Windham’s involvement was a big part of that decision, and I’m excited about what we can accomplish together.”

The signing follows Quad Lock Honda’s recent confirmation of McAdoo, with increased backing from American Honda and legendary longtime professional racer Windham’s involvement contributing to rider development and performance. In addition, Christian Craig will continue in 450SMX.

“Michael is one of the most talented riders in the class,” team owner Yarrive Konsky explained. “His race win, championship result and career performances demonstrate what he can do, he has claimed two podiums this year and many top-fives.

“Michael has the speed and experience. Our job is to give him the environment, equipment and support to convert that potential into consistent results. We believe he can fight for championships, and that’s exactly what we’re working towards.”
