JPM 360 Developments has been named Kawasaki Motors Australia’s officially-supported 250 team for the 2026 Australian ProMX and AUSX championships following Empire Motorsports’ move to focus on the 450 class.

Inclusive of MX2/SX2 and MXW, the Gold Coast-based team debuted this year in fielding Haruki Yokoyama (MX2) and Jet Alsop (MX3) outdoors, as well as Deegan Rose in the SX3 category of AUSX. Alsop transferred to the factory Honda Racing team prior to supercross.

JPM has transferred from Honda to Kawasaki machinery for the upcoming season, but is still to confirm who will be onboard its KX250s in the new year.

“We set out at the start of this year to put a program together to help Jet and Haruki, along with getting our feet wet running a race team,” commented JPM owner Jed Parsons. “Balancing the commitment to our JPM MX Developments workshop customers while running a professional race team was no easy task, but we created a strong unit within the team that allowed our riders to excel and get results.

“At the end of ProMX we began talks with Kawasaki Australia as the Empire team were committed to being a 450 only program in 2026 and the opportunity was there for us to have Kawasaki support in MX2 if we could put a solid business plan together, which we were able to achieve with the help of our title sponsor 360 Developments.”

The JPM 360 Developments Kawasaki team will field a pair of MX2 entries, as well as supporting Kawasaki’s MXW class riders when the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship commences at Wonthaggi, Victoria, between March 21-22.
