Complete motocross line-up unveiled ahead of next season.
KTM has already unveiled its 2027 SX motocross range, featuring a revised appearance, while retaining the familiar race-proven platform that has defined the brand’s current model generation.
For 2027, KTM continues to deliver a complete motocross line-up built to suit riders of all levels. From junior development through to top-tier competition, the SX family combines outright performance with the ability to be tailored to individual needs.
The range is made up of nine models, covering both KTM minis and full-size machines – spanning from the KTM 50 SX, 65 SX and 85 SX, into the KTM 125 SX, 250 SX and 300 SX two-strokes, and KTM 250 SX-F, 350 SX-F and 450 SX-F four-strokes.
At first glance, the most noticeable update for 2027 is a revised colorway and graphics package, with an increased emphasis on KTM’s signature orange, complemented by red detailing on the shrouds.
Central to the 2027 SX range is the steel frame, which continues to benefit from decades of development. The hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded construction is designed to deliver optimal flex characteristics, stability and rider feedback across varying track conditions and motorcycle sizes.
Engine performance remains a standout, with KTM’s advanced powertrains offering strong torque and peak output while maintaining compact dimensions. The integration of electronic fuel injection across both two-stroke and four-stroke models ensures consistent power delivery and efficiency, all while complying with current FIM noise regulations.
Premium components are featured throughout the full-size range, with WP Suspension XACT hardware forming the backbone of the chassis package. Additional highlights include Pankl gearboxes, Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires, Excel rims with CNC-machined hubs, Brembo braking systems and clutches, NEKEN handlebars, ODI lock-on grips and Keihin throttle bodies.
