Team Australia will feature Jed Beaton, Aaron Tanti and Alex Larwood in the 2026 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations (MXoN), selecting an all-national rider line-up for Ernee, France, on October 3-4.

With Beaton already revealing that he had been selected, the new Australian MX1 champion will captain the team in the MXGP category, with Tanti on Open class duties and Larwood in MX2 – making for a trio of first-time MXoN representatives.

With the outgoing Australian roster of Jett Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence and Kyle Webster winning at Matterley Basin (2024) and Ironman (2025), Beaton is set to wear the number one plate on board his YZ450F, with Monster Energy CDR Yamaha teammate Tanti – who finished second in the domestic series outdoors – the number three.

Larwood, meanwhile, will take over the 250 class seat from Honda Racing teammate Webster, fresh from clinching a first-career Australian MX2 championship. With US-based Kayden Minear unable to attend as a result of Star Racing’s withdrawal, selectors have called upon Larwood over Bud Racing EMX250 regular Jake Cannon.

The Lawrences opted not to contest the 2026 running of MXoN in order to take time to reset during the upcoming off-season ahead of next season, while Webster is recovering from recent shoulder surgery. Both Beaton and Larwood are currently in the US contesting the final three rounds of Pro Motocross.

All three riders selected have chosen to represent Team Australia at MXoN over Townsville’s opening round of the Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship, with the official Australian championship season not due to commence until round two of AUSX in Auckland at the end of October.
