Mike Alessi has reportedly been fined following his incident with Brock Tickle during last weekend’s seventh round of Monster Energy Supercross in Atlanta.

In a manoeuvre that set social media alight during the event and afterwards, Alessi practically t-boned fellow Suzuki-mounted rider Tickle and was later fined $US4000 by AMA Pro Racing and FIM officials.

Ironically, the pair were later running in formation during the main event, eventually finishing in seventh and eighth positions.
