Two-time world champion Lotte van Drunen will make her American Pro Motocross debut this weekend, lining up for the second round of the 2026 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) at Thunder Valley.

The 18-year-old Dutch talent will take advantage of a break in the European schedule to line up in the United States – headlined by series leader Lachlan Turner (Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha) and Quad Lock Honda’s Charli Cannon.

Turner arrives at Thunder Valley with momentum after sweeping both motos at the opening round at Hangtown, while van Drunen has experienced a challenging start to her title defense in Europe, listed ninth in the standings after both the French and German GPs.

Thunder Valley marks a long-awaited showdown between the best of both continents, with van Drunen adding to the European flavor of the event as Belgian twins Lucas and Sacha Coenen also make their Pro Motocross debuts.

WMX competition begins on Friday in Colorado with qualifying and moto one, before the second and final moto takes place on Saturday following the completion of 250MX and 450MX racing.
