The provisional 2027 MXGP World Championship calendar has been released by Infront Moto Racing, featuring a 20-round schedule that will open in late February next year.

Andalucia will open proceedings on February 28, the Spanish venue that joined the calendar this season and now takes on the role of season-opener for both MXGP and MX2, along with WMX and EMX125 on the program.

Two weeks later the paddock crosses the Atlantic for the MXGP of Argentina on March 14, as the venue of Bariloche welcomes MXGP for a second-consecutive year. That will be followed by the MXGP of Italy at Montevarchi (28 March), Sardegna at Riola Sardo on April 4, the MXGP of Spain (April 18) at a to be announced location, and then the MXGP of Trentino (April 25).

China will move forward in Shanghai on May 2, before the European core of the calendar then runs from late May to the end of June, with the MXGP of Portugal (May 23) – venue TBA – to be followed by France on May 30 in its return to Saint Jean d’Angely, Latvia at Kegums (June 13), the MXGP of Germany (June 20) at Teutschenthal, and Great Britain at Foxhills on June 27.

A pause in July gives teams and riders a mid-season reset, and racing resumes with two of the most demanding weekends of the year, with the MXGP of Czech Republic at Loket on July 25 and the MXGP of Flanders at Lommel on August 1.

The run to the finish opens with the MXGP of Sweden at Uddevalla (August 15) and the Netherlands at Arnhem (August 22), before the MXGP of Turkey at Afyonkarahisar (September 5). A further GP is scheduled for September 12 – with the host country and venue to be announced – and the MXGP of Australia in Darwin follows on September 19.

MXGP will host its finale in Europe once again from 2027, featuring the MXGP of Switzerland on October 3 at a venue to be confirmed, bringing down the curtain on the season one week before the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in The Netherlands at Assen on October 10.
