The Australian champion Honda Racing team is plotting an all-in Pro Motocross cameo headlined by Kyle Webster and Brodie Connolly through the final three rounds of season 2025, commencing with the Ironman National next weekend.

Webster, Connolly, and Kayd Kingsford have confirmed that they will line up in Indiana, with Webster and Connolly set to contest the 450MX and 250MX divisions, while Kingsford will take part in SMX Next’s Scouting Moto Combine on Friday.

From there, both Webster and Connolly will appear at the proceeding two American outdoor rounds – at Unadilla and Budds Creek – before Webster looks to defend the Chamberlain Trophy with Team Australia at the Motocross of Nations (MXoN) alongside Jett and Hunter Lawrence on October 3-5. He will revert to the 250 class for MXoN.

“So we’re going straight from QMP to race Ironman, Unadilla, and Budds Creek, which is going to be pretty sick,” Webster told MotoOnline. “After doing those couple of rounds last year, I really wanted to go back this year – it’s a good time of the year to go over there, see their racing and be a part of that. I’m really looking forward to it.”

After clinching his second-successive MX2 title at Toowoomba, Kiwi sensation Connolly will head Stateside and contest his first Pro Motocross event, in what could be a precursor of what is to come in 2026.

“I fly out Tuesday after QMP, and will race the last three rounds of Pro Motocross,” 21-year-old Connolly revealed. “I’m looking forward to that – even if I wasn’t going for these last three rounds, I want to be there next year. It’ll be cool to see where I stack up… Hopefully I can grab a few good starts and get a taste of the speed, but yeah, it’s where I want to be next year.”

For the current ProMX MX3 points leader Kingsford, an opportunity to show his skillset in front of some of the world’s biggest teams will be of immense value, as the number 20 is in exceptional form after posting a breakout season to date domestically.

“After QMP, there’s the combine at Ironman, and as of now, it’s confirmed that I’ll be racing which is a massive stepping stone in my racing,” he confirmed to MotoOnline on Saturday. “We’ve got a lot to focus on here still with the MX3 title, but for sure, that’s going to be a great opportunity.”

The trio of riders, who all train together as part of Beaton’s Pro Formula, will join Honda Racing teammate Charli Cannon – the three-time ProMX champion who’s already a regular at Quad Lock Honda – as the six-round US-based WMX championship resumes at Ironman. Both Honda Racing and Quad Lock Honda are operated by influential Australian team owner Yarrive Konsky.

In addition, it’s anticipated that Monster Energy Yamalube Yamaha’s Ryder Kingsford – currently positioned second in the Australian MX2 series – will make his debut in America with the tentative goal of securing a full-time seat for 2026, while injured former national MX1 red plate-holder Jed Beaton was also due to line-up prior to his season-ending leg injury.
