The KTM Junior Racing Team will feature an exciting four-rider lineup for the 2026 season, with returning trio Kyle Harvey, Nate Perrett, and Ollie Birkitt to be joined by emerging young Victorian prospect Mason Ezergailis.

After what was an impressive showing at last year’s KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX) in South Australia – including podium results in both the 125cc 13-U15 Years and 250cc 13-U15 Years divisions – Queensland young gun Kyle Harvey will step up to the 15 Years category equipped with the KTM 125 SX and 250 SX-F and aim for additional success.

Joining Harvey in the 15 Years division will be fellow Queenslander Nate Perrett, who is excited to build off what was a convincing season of racing last year. Perrett was a top-five finisher in the AJMX 85cc 12-U14 Years class and was P5 in the ProMX MX85 Cup standings with a single podium, before posting sixth overall in the KTM SX85 Futures class of the AUSX Supercross Championship – highlighted by a pair of P2 results at Redcliffe.

Western Australia’s Ollie Birkitt will shift his focus to full-sized machinery in 2026 after a successful season aboard the KTM 85 SX last year, where he captured a 4-1-1 scorecard and second overall in the 85cc 12-U14 Years championship at AJMX. He also showed promise in the 125cc 13-U15 Years class in achieving P4 overall, before recording an impressive second-place result in the SX85 Futures with three podiums.

New to the team for 2026, Mason Ezergailis will compete on the KTM 85 SX, aiming to continue the type of form that saw him win two rounds of the KTM Group MX65 Futures as part of the Australian ProMX Championship. In between, he represented Team Australia at the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in France.

Ezergailis also raced to victory in the 65cc 10-U12 Years category at AJMX, solidifying his place as an up-and-coming talent in the junior ranks and he arrives as a welcome new addition to the KTM Junior Racing Team roster.

All four riders will take on an extensive race schedule this year, with the 2026 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX) in Shepparton, Victoria, this September set to headline the KTM Junior Racing Team calendar once more.

Kyle Blunden, KTM Group Australia Motorsport Manager: “I’m incredibly proud of the KTM Junior Racing Team we’ve assembled for 2026. Kyle, Nate and Ollie all demonstrated outstanding growth and resilience during the 2025 season, and it’s exciting to support them as they take the next step in their development with KTM. We’re equally thrilled to welcome Mason to the team. His results and attitude speak for themselves, and he’s a fantastic addition to our program. This lineup reflects our commitment to nurturing emerging Australian talent and giving young riders the platform they need to chase their ambitions on the national and international stage. We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead.”
