Remaining with Pipes Motorsports Group team next season.
Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki and Ken Roczen have officially extended their partnership through the 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship season, remaining part of the Pipes Motorsports Group (PMG) organization.
Roczen, 31, has been an instrumental part of the PMG team’s success over the previous three years, after a high-profile switch from Honda HRC for the 2023 season. Next year will mark his fourth-straight year onboard their RM-Z450.
Together they have enjoyed strong success, with the 2025 SMX season yielding a Monster Energy Supercross main event victory at Daytona, as well as holding the 450SX red plate during the series’ opening stages. Roczen also finished fourth in the 450SMX standings.
“I’m excited to sign another year with the team,” commented Roczen. “We have built a solid foundation over the last few years, and I’m excited to continue to work with the people that I have worked with for the last four years because I feel like that is when the best results come. I think we have a lot up our sleeve for the 2026 season, and I am excited to continue this relationship.”
Team principal Dustin Pipes added: “[We’re] very excited to have Ken back with the team for what will be our fourth year building together. We’ve achieved great success together and look forward to continuing to build upon it. We want to see Ken on a yellow Suzuki motorcycle for the rest of his career.”
Former 450SX champion Jason Anderson has also been heavily linked with a move to PMG and Suzuki for 2026, announcing his departure from the Monster Energy Kawasaki team after four seasons together.
