Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Malcolm Stewart is returning to competition for Unadilla after missing the majority of Pro Motocross 2026, finally declared fit after injuring his knee at the opening round.

Stewart finished 12th in the opening moto at Fox Raceway before being forced out of the second race as a precaution, unable to line up since late May while undergoing rehabilitation.

A social media post from Husqvarna has confirmed the news today: “Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing will welcome Malcolm Stewart back for Unadilla this weekend! Mookie has been sidelined since the opening round of Pro Motocross, now fit and determined to finish the season strong.”

With Rockstar Energy Husqvarna set to close its doors at the end of the season – Husqvarna instead offering factory support to a series of independent teams – Stewart’s future has been at the center of speculation, most recently linked to a seat at Monster Energy Kawasaki for 2027.
