P1 | Jeffrey Herlings (Honda HRC Petronas):
Another perfect weekend, perhaps even better than in Loket because I was able to lead every lap of every race. That made my life a lot easier and I was able to just control the speed and pick my own lines. I really enjoy riding here and I think that showed with just how comfortable I looked, and it also showed how much work the whole team has put in, to get to a stage when I can win both of the races by 40 seconds. And now we are 104 points up, which is a good margin, but the work still isn’t done yet.

P2 | Kay de Wolf (Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing):
Yeah, it was a really good weekend. I struggled a little bit in the first moto, but I’m actually happy we experienced that because we made a change for the second moto and I learned a lot from it. That’s what we came back from the injury for – to learn and keep building – so I’m really proud of the performance we put in. I was also really lucky with Romain [Febvre] in that second moto. He had a big one, handstanded and landed right in front of me, so I clipped him and couldn’t avoid him. I heard he was okay, which is the most important thing. It was a tough moto, but I gave it everything I had. Now I’m looking forward to Sweden and especially Arnhem in two weeks’ time for my home GP. Hopefully we’ll see all the Dutch fans out there. I couldn’t do it without the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory team, so a big thank you to everyone.

P3 | Tim Gajser (Monster Energy Yamaha):
It was a tough day at the office. The track changed a lot from yesterday and became much more difficult, so I knew after warm-up that it was going to be a long day with two demanding motos. I got two good starts, which was really important because it kept me with the front group from the beginning. My pace was good, especially in the first moto, and I was able to run with the leaders. The second moto started well too, but I made a couple of mistakes that cost me a lot of time. It was difficult to find my rhythm after that, but towards the end I noticed the riders ahead starting to make mistakes, so I pushed hard and closed right up to them. I’m happy to finish on the podium, but there’s still plenty of work to do. We’ll keep working hard and hopefully I’ll soon be fighting consistently with the front runners.

P4 | Tom Vialle (Honda HRC Petronas):
I ended up being just a couple of points off the podium, which I think is something I am extremely happy with, on my return here on a 450cc machine. This truly is the toughest track in the world, and having not really trained on anything like this for a few years, I think fourth overall, with a third in race two is an excellent result. We’ve been working very hard these past few weeks and I think you can see the process is working well.

P5 | Andrea Adamo (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing):
After the qualifying race yesterday I have to say I was expecting a little bit more today. I didn’t have the best feeling in the first moto and that meant I went into the second not completely on-point. A bad start, a crash also, and from then on I managed to get back to P5 with a good rhythm. I chased and passed the guys ahead of me quite easily. 5th overall in Lommel is better than just ‘good enough’. A break next week then hardpack in Sweden and overseas to the last Grand Prix rounds. It will go quickly but I’m looking forward to it.

P6 | Ruben Fernandez (Honda HRC Petronas):
Sixth overall is a solid result, and although I wasn’t so close to the podium as I have been the previous weeks, the fact that I stayed off the ground throughout the entire weekend is something I can be proud of. This track hasn’t been kind to me in the past, so I think I showed that I can be fast and consistent at such a tough track. We’ve got some better tracks for me coming up and I’m excited to see what I can do on those.

P7 | Ben Watson (Dirt Store Triumph Racing):
Unreal weekend for P9-P7. It felt amazing to do that in race two after a crash on the start – Lommel never disappoints. Huge thanks to the whole Dirt Store Triumph Racing team for everything.

P1 | Camden McLellan (Triumph Factory Racing):
It was a great day and I’m really happy. To get the overall win is an amazing feeling, and it’s been an awesome weekend. I can’t thank the whole team enough for all of their hard work. It was also great to see Guillem on the podium again, and I had another really good battle with Simon Laengenfelder in the second moto. It was a tough race and physically demanding, but luckily I was fit enough to keep pushing right to the end and come away with the win. I’m really happy with how everything came together.

P2 | Guillem Farres (Triumph Factory Racing):
It was another solid day. First of all, it’s great to share the podium with Camden – that’s a really good result for the team and if I can’t win then I want him to. The second moto was solid. I got the holeshot, was passed early on, but stayed calm and rode my own race. In the last 10 minutes I was able to make the pass for second, so I’m really happy with that. Extending the championship lead is another positive and overall, it was a great day for the whole team.

P3 | Simon Langenfelder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing):
Three consistent motos and without any big mistakes – which is already better than last weekend! – and I’m happy about that. Coming away with a podium is also positive because we all know Lommel is a tough GP. A good way to bounce back from Loket and Sweden next, which is a cool one.

P4 | Karlis Reisulis (Monster Energy Yamaha):
It was a good day. We made some positive changes after yesterday, and I definitely felt much better on the bike today. My start in the first race wasn’t great, but I rode my own race and felt strong throughout. I felt like I could push hard right to the end. It’s been another good weekend and I’m happy with the day, happy that I was able to push hard, and pleased with how I felt on the bike.

P5 | Janis Reisulis (Monster Energy Yamaha):
It was quite a good day overall. My speed was really good, and I managed to keep a clear head throughout the races, even when I was battling with other riders. To finish fifth overall at my first Grand Prix here is a result I’m happy with. The track was really tough once it got rough, so there’s still plenty to work on, especially with my fitness. We’ll keep working hard and keep improving. A big thank you to the whole team for all of their support this weekend.

P6 | Sacha Coenen (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing):
A difficult weekend. I was not feeling 100 percent and was getting quite tired. We just need to accept the 6-7 even if I am not so happy with the result. I brought some good points home and I hope in two weeks we can be back going for the win. Battling for the championship again is now key.

P7 | Julius Mikula (Osicka MX Team):
A consistent weekend for me, 7-8 in the motos for P7 overall. Thank you, team.

P8 | Alve Callemo (Husqvarna):
Where do I even start… I’m incredibly proud of myself after this weekend. This result was far from what I expected, and I’m really happy how it turned out.
