Raceline Husqvarna Tdub Racing Team’s Todd Waters has signalled that he will continue competing in 2026, with the Raceline owner and rider detailing that he ‘can’t stop’ and his passion continues to burn bright in the latter stages of his decorated career.

At 35 years old, Waters has experienced an uptick in form across both Warwick and Canberra ProMX rounds, with laps led in Queensland, followed by a fifth overall finish at the Fairburn Park Motorsport Complex on Sunday, cementing his competitiveness.

With no pressure to hang up the boots currently, the former MX1 class champion is happy to continue his current arrangement, while trying to develop the next wave of talent to ultimately take his place as the lead rider.

“Yeah, for sure [we’re going again], I can’t stop!” commented Waters to MotoOnline. “I guess it’s passion, I’ve got the passion, and I know that once I let this go, I’m turning the page. So I don’t want to be trying to turn the page and going, ‘Oh man, I love what I used to do,’ so while I have the opportunity, I’ll stay on.

“Whether I’m the lead rider or not… I’m trying to bring people like Regan Duffy in, ride with him during the week – it’s a perfect scenario for me to try and get Regan where he wants to be, and then I can step back from there. That’s part of the plan, but I’m definitely not ready to hang it up yet.”

In terms of a replacement for the injured number 72 of Duffy, Waters said that he is without options when it comes to adding someone else to the roster, instead working with the Western Australian talent during his recovery process.

“I’d love to say, you know, back in the day there were a lot of seats and a lot of options – this happened to me at 16, and factory KTM put me on their bike – but I just don’t have the riders at the moment to be able to put in that position,” he continued.

“In saying that, Regan is working hard behind the scenes, he’s motivated, and we are there to support him 100 percent, and when he makes that decision [to return], we’ll see him back.”
