US-based brothers Jett and Hunter Lawrence will headline the now Boost Mobile-backed AUSX Open Supercross for the second-consecutive year in 2025, setting up a high-profile homecoming this November within Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.

The Honda HRC Progressive teammates have formally been confirmed ahead of the international event, set for November 22 as the penultimate round of the AUSX Supercross Championship.

During the event’s first appearance in five years since 2019, Hunter Lawrence emerged victorious last season on an evening where Jett Lawrence’s showing was cut short after crashing and damaging his CRF during the second of three finals.

2025 will mark 10 years since the inaugural AUSX Open was held inside Sydney’s then-titled Allphones Arena, where Ricky Carmichael, Chad Reed, and Cooper Webb headlined the event over two days. For this year, the addition of the superstar brothers is the perfect way to celebrate the milestone.

“To headline the 10-year anniversary with two of the sport’s biggest stars, on home soil, is massive,” commented Kelly Bailey, AUSX Open Managing Director. “Jett and Hunter are more than athletes – they’re hometown heroes and global icons. In 2025, we’re taking the AUSX Open experience to the next level – with more international stars, more innovation, and more unforgettable moments. Last year broke all records for Supercross and stadium motorsport in Australia, and we’re hoping to go even bigger this year.”

As for the US-based Lawrence brothers, the return to Australia presents a unique opportunity to race in front of their home crowd, with last year’s winner – Hunter – indicating that the love and appreciation felt was like no other.

“That night will always be special. From the moment we walked into the stadium, we felt the love from the Aussie fans. The crowd was next level. To share that moment with our family and friends and the moto community – nothing compares. To be back for the 10th anniversary… 2025 is going to be incredible.”

Younger brother Jett experienced his share of misfortune at last year’s edition, which is something he is determined to rectify come November in Marvel Stadium.

“Last year was incredible – the build-up, the opening ceremony, hearing that crowd again – it was something we’ll never forget. Coming back to Marvel Stadium in 2025 – I want to win!”

A flurry of announcements are expected to follow for the marquee international event, including additional international riders to challenge the Lawrence brothers on home turf come November 22.
