New Zealander fills second seat at official Kawasaki MX2 team.
New Zealand prospect Madoc Dixon has been named as the second rider in the JPM 360 Developments Kawasaki team for the remainder of the Penrite ProMX Championship, filling the seat vacated by Ryan Alexanderson from Appin onwards.
The former New Zealand MX2 champion has been a consistent top-10 contender throughout this year’s ProMX campaign, recording seventh overall finishes at both Canberra and Gillman aboard a private Kawasaki KX250 entry.
Following the mutual split between Alexanderson and JPM Kawasaki after Toowoomba, Dixon will now partner Jayce Cosford for the remainder of the ProMX season, the team has announced:
‘We’re excited to announce that New Zealand’s Kiwi kid Madoc Dixon will be joining JPM Kawasaki for the remaining rounds of the Australian ProMX Championship. A warm welcome to Madoc, we’re looking forward to having him on board.’
Dixon currently sits 10th in the MX2 standings, with the ProMX championship set to resume racing at Appin on June 14.
