Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki has unveiled a one-off black and gold livery ahead of the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship at Wonthaggi as part of the Australian oil brand’s 100-year celebrations.

The unique design replaces Empire’s traditional Kawasaki green colourway, with a black base and gold accents marking the centenary of one of the nation’s most established motorsport lubricant brands.

“We’re excited to go racing this weekend with some new team riders and new staff joining the crew,” said Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki team owner Tyson Cherry. “Everyone has been putting in a huge amount of work behind the scenes, and the whole team is pumped to finally hit the track.

“It makes this weekend even more special running the black and gold colours for Penrite Oil. Celebrating 100 years is an incredible milestone and we’re proud to represent a brand with such a strong legacy in motorsport. A massive thanks to Penrite for the continued support – we’re ready to give it everything we’ve got and make it a weekend to remember.”

The team features an all-new roster for the upcoming season, as four-time MX1 champion Dean Ferris makes a return to competition, while youthful Queensland talent Brad West will pilot the second official KX450.
