Sydney, (Australia), January 7th 2026: Ducati Australia is thrilled to finally announce the arrival of the
all-new Desmo450 MX to the Australian market, marking a bold new chapter for the brand in off-road performance.

To coincide with this milestone, Ducati Australia is also unveiling a new partnership with X Games and internationally recognised freestyle motocross athlete Corey Creed, reinforcing Ducati’s commitment to innovation, elite performance and the progression of motocross and freestyle riding.

The launch of the Desmo450 MX signals Ducati’s intent to redefine expectations in the highly-competitive 450cc motocross segment. At the heart of the motorcycle is Ducati’s signature desmodromic valve system, delivering precise valve control, immediate throttle response and high-revving performance. This translates into exceptional overall power, consistent power delivery and durability under the extreme demands of competition and freestyle riding. A lightweight chassis, advanced suspension package and race-focused ergonomics further enhance agility, stability and rider confidence, whether on a technical circuit or launching into complex aerial manoeuvres.

Complementing its mechanical performance, the Desmo450 MX features an advanced electronics suite developed to support riders performing at the highest level. Configurable riding modes, advanced traction control strategies and multiple engine maps allow the bike’s character to be tailored to different riding styles and conditions. This level of electronic sophistication makes the Desmo450 MX a natural fit for Corey Creed, providing precise power management, predictability and confidence when pushing boundaries at the limit.

Corey Creed is widely regarded as one of the most creative and technically accomplished freestyle motocross riders of his generation, literally pushing to new heights on the quarter pipe. With a career spanning major international events, including multiple appearances on the global X Games stage, Creed has built a reputation for innovation, progression and an uncompromising pursuit of perfection. Known for his smooth style, technical execution and commitment to advancing the sport, he represents a strong alignment with Ducati’s philosophy of performance-driven design and engineering excellence.

Creed on board the Desmo450 MX will make its first public Australian appearance at Summernats in Canberra this January, giving fans the opportunity to see Ducati’s latest off-road machine up close on one of the country’s largest and most iconic automotive stages. Ducati Australia also acknowledges Motorcycles R Us as the supporting dealer for this partnership, playing a key role in supporting the Desmo450 MX program and its Australian debut.

Sergi Canovas, Managing Director Ducati Australia and New Zealand, said the arrival of the Desmo450 MX represents a significant moment for the brand locally. “This motorcycle embodies our racing DNA, advanced engineering and relentless focus on performance. Partnering with Corey Creed allows us to showcase the Desmo450 MX in an environment where innovation, skill and passion are pushed to the absolute limit. We are proud to introduce this bike to Australian audiences with Corey Creed and to work alongside Motorcycles R Us in bringing this project to life.”

Corey Creed said the Desmo450 MX immediately stood out for its balance of power, control and technology. “The Desmo450 MX is unlike anything I’ve ridden before. The power delivery, control and electronics give me the confidence to push harder and be more creative on the bike. Partnering with Ducati for my X Games competition and freestyle events and activities is an incredible opportunity, and I’m excited to show global fans what this machine is capable of, starting at Summernats.”
