Logistics assistance, reduced costs, and rider incentives introduced for 2026.
The Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship has unveiled a new rider support initiative for 2026, introducing a range of initiatives designed to reduce costs and create additional earning opportunities as the series expands across Australia and into New Zealand.
Central to the optional program is an AUSX-managed freight system, which will transport motorcycles and approved equipment between all five rounds, while competitors will also receive discounted entry fees, secure transport crates, covered pit infrastructure at long-haul events, shared workshop facilities, and access to discounted accommodation rates.
Also included is a new content reward system, with up to $100,000 in incentive payments available to riders who actively create content and drive digital engagement throughout the season.
AUSX CEO Adam Bailey said the program was designed to ease the logistical and financial burden associated with competing in the championship’s largest-ever geographical footprint.
“The 2026 championship is the biggest geographical footprint we have ever undertaken, and we recognised early that logistics and travel would become one of the biggest challenges for riders and teams,” Bailey said.
“This program is designed to simplify the logistics and reduce the investment required to commit to the series, whilst creating additional income opportunities and rewarding riders that are proactive in promoting themselves and the sport.”
According to AUSX, the program was developed following consultation with riders and teams during the off-season, with organisers estimating it could reduce costs by more than $1000 per rider, per round.
“In the off-season, we spoke to a number of riders and teams, including privateers like Hayden Mellross and Zane Mackintosh, to understand exactly where their costs were to compete in the AUSX series in 2025,” Bailey added.
“We’re confident that the program we’re proposing will see costs decrease by over $1000 per round, per rider, whilst giving them more time to work, train, and prepare for each event.”
The 2026 AUSX season will feature five rounds across Queensland, New Zealand, Victoria, Western Australia, and New South Wales, with further details regarding championship classes and race formats expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
