Troy Lee Designs will continue to operate the factory GasGas program for the next three seasons, extending their partnership through the 2026 SuperMotocross Championship (SMX).

The team first switched to GasGas ahead of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, with Justin Barcia claiming the brand’s breakout 450SX win at Houston 2 that year.

Also in the team’s first year with GasGas, Barcia grabbed the organization’s maiden 450MX overall victory at Budd’s Creek, with Michael Mosiman – who will not be returning with the program in the 2024 season – securing the manufacturer’s first 250SX main event win at San Diego in 2022.

Barcia onboard an MC 450F, plus Pierce Brown and Mosiman equipped with MC 250Fs were staples in the team’s line-up from 2021-2023. For 2024 Barcia and Brown will remain, as Ryder DiFrancesco makes the switch from the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team to join TLD Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing onboard a quarter-liter machine.

The latest extension means the Troy Lee Designs team and GasGas tenure will reach six years, as the 2024 campaign is set to commence with the opening round of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship at Angel Stadium, Anaheim on 6 January.
