A schedule adjustment ahead of this weekend’s ninth round of the 2023 Pro Motocross Championship will see 450MX brought forward and featured prior to the 250MX motos.

Opening motos from the Unadilla National will be showcased live, exclusively on Peacock, beginning with the 450 Class at 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET.

Additionally, the second motos will also air live and uninterrupted on Peacock, with a network television simulcast on NBC, beginning at 12:00pm PT/3:00pm ET.

Australia’s Jett Lawrence has a strong opportunity to clinch the 450MX title in his rookie season on Saturday, the Team Honda HRC rider winning 16 from 16 motos contested this year to hold a 95-point advantage ahead of Dylan Ferrandis (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing). If he can increase that margin to at least 100 points by the conclusion of round nine, he will be crowned.

“History is poised to be made on Saturday from arguably the most iconic venue in American motocross,” said MX Sports Pro Racing president Davey Coombs. “What Jett Lawrence has accomplished this summer is something we’ve never seen before in more than 50 years of competition in the Pro Motocross Championship.

“The 19-year-old Australian has cemented himself as the sport’s newest phenom and will bring a perfect, undefeated record into the hallowed grounds of Unadilla MX with a chance to add even more prevalence to an already unprecedented season.”

In 250MX, Hunter Lawrence leads the standings by just three points in front of the in-form Haiden Deegan (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing) ahead of round nine.
