Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders Carson Mumford and Jett Reynolds will miss Pro Motocross at High Point this Saturday following crashes at the previous 250MX round in Colorado.

Round three of the Pro Motocross championship was a tough one for both riders, with Mumford falling in practice which kept him from competing and Reynolds later involved in a first-turn crash in the opening moto, ruling him out of race two.

“Once we had Jett and Carson checked out, we decided it was best to sit them both out for High Point and let them get a full three weeks of recovery time before they race again,” said Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team manager Iain Southwell. “We spent some time this week working on starts with Jo and Ryder.

“We holeshot both motos at High Point last year, so we’re looking for a big improvement from Lakewood for the guys. The weather seems good for Saturday, so fingers crossed.”

Jo Shimoda and Ryder DiFrancesco will represent Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki this Saturday in 250MX at High Point, the pair fourth and 10th respectively in the standings after three rounds.
