Reigning champions headline latest 2026 rider announcement.
Organizers of the World Supercross Championship (WSX) have confirmed that reigning champions Jason Anderson and Max Anstie will return to defend their titles in 2026, with additional rider announcements continuing to shape the field.
Current SX1 number one Anderson joins Colt Nichols to complete the Pipes Motorsport Group (PMG) line-up, while defending SX2 champion Anstie – who contested last year’s series with GSM Yamaha on Star Racing equipment – will represent Rick Ware Racing (RWR).
Anderson captured the SX1 crown in a dramatic final-round showdown last year, defeating Quad Lock Honda duo Joey Savatgy and Christian Craig to claim the title on debut, while Anstie was near-perfect in securing his second SX2 world championship.
Adding to the PMG Suzuki line-up are Crockett Myers and Kyle Peters in the SX2 category, with Peters replacing the previously announced Justin Bogle at the Dustin Pipes-led squad.
Elsewhere, 595 Racing has completed its SX1 roster with the addition of Kevin Moranz alongside Gregory Aranda, while French talent Calvin Fonvieille joins GSM Yamaha in SX2 to solidify Serge Guidetty’s roster.
Rounding out the SX2 field are Venum Bud Racing Kawasaki’s Jake Cannon, MotoConcepts Racing’s Robbie Wageman, Germany’s Brian Hsu, who completes the Stark roster, and Brazil’s Hector Assuncao, who will represent 595 Racing.
Quad Lock Honda’s second SX2 seat remains the only vacancy on the grid, with the World Supercross Championship set to commence at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium on August 8, now less than a month away.
