Feld Motor Sports press release:
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC hosted the third annual Love Moto Stop Cancer Golf Tournament this past Thursday at Eaglewood Golf Course in North Salt Lake raising over $155,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A record setting day on the third year of what has become a marquee fundraising pillar for the Love Moto Stop Cancer campaign.
A star-studded lineup of Supercross athletes and industry personnel including Justin Brayton, Adam Cianciarulo, Leigh Diffey, Will Christien, Broc Glover, Jordon Smith, Shane McElrath, Kevin Moranz, Grant Harlan, Jack Chambers, Jeremy Coker, Lars Lindstrom, the Block family and others took to the picturesque links in a shotgun start that featured 148 players in total. The tournament also welcomed members of the Utah Jazz organization, including NBA legends Thurl Bailey and Ron Boone, plus Bart Taylor, VP of Player Personnel for the Jazz.
“We’ve been donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for 30 plus years, so we’ve always believed in St. Jude,” said Rocky Mountain’s current CEO, Shane Burningham. “Two years ago I went out and toured the hospital and to see the technology they use and learn about how much they’ve lowered the mortality rate of cancer [in kids] is amazing. It’s definitely a good cause and we’re grateful to be a part of it.”
Hole sponsors were filled by Supercross industry partners including Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, Monster Energy, Fox Racing, 5.11, Honda, KTM, Leatt, FMF, FLY Racing, Alpinestars, Feld Motor Sports, STACYC, THOR, Michelin, Dunlop, Dirt Tricks, Acerbis, POD, and Pro Taper. After a competitive round of 18, the team comprised of Jordon Smith, Jeremy Coker, Scott Wietz, Troy Brown, and Bryan Jones came out on top. Second place consisted of Cameron Coltrin, Dalton Braun, Hope Stillmock, and Sterling Gikling. Rounding out third was Ryan Miller, Seth Hopkins, Scott Hopkins, and Broc Glover.
