Teenage talent Caden Dudney has been drafted into Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing ahead of the 250SX East opener in Arlington, set to make his Monster Energy Supercross pro debut at 16 years of age.

The Texan will join YZ250F teammates Nate Thrasher, Cole Davies, and Pierce Brown for the Eastern Division after graduating through the SMX Next amateur program.

“Racing pro Supercross is something I have dreamt about since I was little,” Dudney said. “I feel confident in my abilities and am ready to begin this new chapter. I’m pumped my first race will be in Arlington!”

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 team manager Will Hahn added: “We’re really excited to see Caden make his debut this weekend and to see where he stacks up! He has put in all the work and is ready to go.”

Dudney finished second at Anaheim 2 and won Houston in the two SMX Next rounds of Monster Energy Supercross staged so far in 2026. Last year saw him contest two Pro Motocross rounds in 250MX, achieving an impressive 11th-place finish overall in his pro debut at Unadilla.
