TLD Red Bull GasGas rider Pierce Brown has signed a contract extension to remain with the outfit through the 2023 and 2024 AMA seasons.

After spending his maiden campaign in the pro ranks KTM-mounted, Brown and the team switched to GasGas last year and finished 12th in 250SX West after missing multiple rounds due to injury.

Notably, he finished third at Daytona that season, but a fractured collarbone and concussion sustained at Unadilla brought a premature end to Brown’s 2021 Pro Motocross campaign.

This year, the MC 250F rider rebounded and finished third in the 250SX East standings with three podiums to his credit, followed by a more challenging 250MX run that saw him finish P10 in the points.

“I’m excited to extend my future with TLD Red Bull GasGas and I’m looking forward to the 2023 and 2024 seasons with them,” Brown shared. “Thank you to everyone on the team who’s had my back through thick and thin.

“Also a thank you to everyone else who’s helped me get to where we are today. Let’s get back to work for ‘23!”

The 17-round 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship gets underway at Angel Stadium, Anaheim on 7 January, as Pro Motocross begins in Pala on 27 May. Following both series, the SuperMotocross World Championship playoffs will commence on 9 September.
