Four-time 450MX champion Eli Tomac will return for the Spring Creek National on Saturday, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed.

The 33-year-old Tomac has been sidelined since Fox Raceway’s season-opening round, but has finally been cleared to get back to racing for round seven in Millville.

Both KTM USA and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing formally announced the news today on social media:

Eli Tomac will be back in action this weekend! The four-time 450MX Champion is returning for the Spring Creek National aboard his KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION. See you on track, ET3!

As a result of his incident in 450MX moto one at Pala, Tomac has been recovering from a hyperextended anterior longitudinal ligament and partial tear of the left sternocleidomastoid muscle in his neck.
