Team USA has officially named Chance Hymas (MXGP), Levi Kitchen (MX2) and Cooper Webb (Open) for the 2026 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations, to be staged in Ernee, France, this October.

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) confirmed the three-rider line-up on Friday at Ironman’s final round of the Pro Motocross season, to be managed by Mike Pelletier for a second year.

“We have put together an outstanding team for this year’s FIM Motocross of Nations as we look to build on last year’s success,” AMA director of racing Pelletier stated.

“Having the opportunity to serve as the manager for Team USA has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to stand beside Cooper, Levi and Chance as we take on the world. I know they are ecstatic to represent their country this October in France.”

After injury held him out of making his debut in the 2024 running, Hymas is set to make his first appearance in this year’s event and will step up to the MXGP class on board a factory CRF450R. He is currently positioned fourth in the 250MX standings entering the finale.

“I’m beyond excited to get the opportunity to race for Team USA in the MXGP class,” Hymas said. “It means everything to me and has been a dream of mine to carry the Stars and Stripes overseas and represent our country in front of the world. We have a strong team heading to France this year and I’m confident between Cooper, Levi, and myself that we’ll represent America proudly.”

Kitchen will also make his MXoN debut in 2026, lining up in the MX2 class. The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider is currently second in points and highest-ranked American in the national 250MX championship with one round to go this weekend.

“What an honor it is to be selected to represent our amazing country,” commented Kitchen. “I’m so excited for this experience and to do it with a great group of people – can’t wait to send it for Team USA!”

This year will mark Webb’s fourth appearance at MXoN with Team USA, having previously lined up in 2015, 2016 and 2024 – finishing on the podium in all three attempts. Expected to be equipped with KTM or Husqvarna machinery, Webb will race on behalf of the United States in the Open class and serve as team captain.

“I’m so excited and grateful to be on Team USA for MXoN again,” Webb said. “It’s an honor and always has been. We are moving mountains on my end to make this even happen and I can’t thank everyone involved enough for what they are doing to even have me be able to race this event.

“The preparation, resources, time and money that goes into making this happen is crazy so thank you to everyone for doing their part. I’m personally excited as this will be my last year racing Pro Motocross and I know this could be my final time for this event, so I’m ready to lay it all out there.

“I love the pressure and atmosphere this race brings – there is nothing like it. [It’s the] best race in the world and I’m excited to put our best foot forward. It’s an honor to represent my country.”

Webb will transition to a supercross-only contract from next season upon his departure from Star Racing and Yamaha, currently positioned eighth in the 450MX standings of Pro Motocross – fourth of the American riders – after matching his season-high result in P6 overall last weekend at Budds Creek.
