Stark Future will enter its factory World Supercross team in the Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship, with the electric manufacturer’s official WSX riders in line to contest the SX1 and SX2 categories.

The Barcelona-based manufacturer has committed to AUSX in what is understood to be a multi-year agreement, which will see Hicks and Brian Hsu in the 250 class, as well as Jorge Zaragoza – and potentially Vince Friese – among the 450 field.

Stark Future race director Sebestien Tortelli has exclusively revealed that the team is intending on bringing its WSX team regulars, pending final arrangements. A round-by-round rider line-up will be finalised in detail prior to Townsville’s season-opener.

“The possibility came for the factory team to come and race,” Tortelli told MotoOnline. “For us, it’s another avenue because, I mean, we are trying to race worldwide in as many championships as possible – at least, the high standard ones. 
And for me, AUSX, after the US, I think it is one of the best supercross series that there is.

“So that’s why it is very important for us to be participating in there and that’s why when we had the opportunity to make a commitment with the factory team, it was important for us to come. We will come with the WSX team – I don’t know how many riders – and we’re going to try to commit to the whole series.

“
It looks pretty much like the World Supercross team will be coming. That’s the main goal, so we will have the two 250 guys will be coming, and I know they are very excited between Hsu and Hicks. The 450 is still being talked about, if Vince is motivated to do it, and I know that Zaragoza is motivated for it. It will be the factory guys.

Racing is also a big part of marketing, and to show our presence also, with the five rounds that they have, it’s perfect. 
I mean, it’s all over the country, and it’s we are excited to go to New Zealand, also.”

The inclusion of Stark Future’s factory team with the VARG comes following the decision of Motorcycling Australia (MA) to make electric bikes eligible for the series, in addition to a newly-announced commercial partnership between Stark and the AUSX championship.

Stark’s factory team made headlines at Calgary’s opening round of the 2026 WSX season in Canada, where Hsu qualified fastest before Hicks put his VARG on the SX2 podium in a landmark result for the organisation. In addition, Friese finished fourth overall in SX1, with Zaragoza sixth after claiming P2 in the second sprint race of the evening.
