RedBud and Ironman Raceway will host a pair of Scouting Moto Combine events as part of the 2026 SMX Next – Motocross development program, MX Sports Pro Racing and the SMX League have confirmed.

SMX Next brings together the two Combines and five Supercross races, culminating in the SMX Next World All-Stars during the Monster Energy SMX World Championship Playoffs.

The Scouting Moto Combines are set to take place the Friday prior to each respective Pro Motocross Championship round, beginning with RedBud on July 3 and then later followed by Ironman Raceway on August 28.

“SMX Next remains one of the most practical and effective amateur development programs in motorsports and continues to provide an unparalleled opportunity for the sport’s most talented prospects to compete in a world class environment,” said Jim Perry, program director for the Scouting Moto Combine.

“Both RedBud and Ironman have proven to be exceptional venues for SMX Next – Motocross and we look forward to welcoming a new crop of talent to the nationals for this summer’s Combines.”

Each Scouting Moto Combine – inclusive of mentorship from a group of legendary coaches – will feature 25 selected amateur prospects, many of whom have already achieved strong results at events like the AMA Amateur National Championships and other major races.
