Experienced American Christian Craig will contest the 2026 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship, the Quad Lock Honda team regular set to join defending champion Dean Wilson in the Australian-based series for the first time in his career.

Craig, 35, is another high-profile addition to AUSX in the Yarrive Konsky-owned Honda Racing organisation, which comes in addition to his broader Monster Energy Supercross, SMX, and World Supercross Championship (WSX) commitments.

“Getting the chance to race AUSX Supercross for the first time means a lot to me,” Craig commented. “I’ve followed what the championship has been doing and I’m excited to finally get the opportunity to race it with it with the factory Honda team. I’m looking forward to getting out there in Townsville, racing in front of the Australian fans and seeing where I stack up.”

Konsky added: “Dean and Christian are proven at the highest level, but reputations won’t win races. They’re two incredibly competitive riders, and they’ll be lining up against a deep field of Australian and international talent.

“We’re bringing the experience, personnel and preparation of our international program to AUSX this year, and there’s more still to announce across the team’s entire line-up.”

Craig finished 12th in the final American 450SX standings this season with a best result of eighth in Indianapolis. He also finished third in in WSX SX1 championship last year, which was highlighted by a main event victory and second overall at the Australian GP on the Gold Coast.

AUSX will drop the gates on October 3 in Townsville, directly following the Monster Energy SMX World Championship post-season in the US. Following that, the series will travel to Auckland (New Zealand), Geelong, Perth and Newcastle during the final months of the year.
