Set to make second appearance of 2026 this weekend in Seattle.
Gizmo Racing will support Ty Masterpool through the remainder of the 2026 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, the privateer Yamaha team has announced.
Masterpool’s only appearance of the season has been in 450SX at Houston, but he wasn’t able to make it into the Triple Crown main events.
“Ty’s a former race winner,” said Gizmo Racing Yamaha team owner Conrad Eigenmann. “He’s got the speed and he’s got the fight. Our job is to give him the right equipment and structure, then let him do what he does – line up and run up front.”
It’s unclear whether Masterpool will be continuing in the premier class or if he will be in 250SX East come next weekend’s opening round for the division in Arlington. He has indicated that he will be lining up in Seattle on Saturday night.
Following his off-season departure from Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki – despite finishing P6 in the 250SMX standings – Masterpool will now form part of the Gizmo Racing Yamaha program while continuing to target a factory 250MX deal outdoors.
