Captured: 2026 Supercross Rd15 Philadelphia

Unpacking moments and narratives that shaped the weekend.

A rain-soaked Lincoln Financial Field was on the agenda for round 15 of Monster Energy Supercross 2026, with the Philadelphia skies opening between qualifying and the night program. Captured revisits the action in illustrated form.

Progressive Insurance Cycle Gear Suzuki’s Ken Roczen turned a one-point deficit into a four-point advantage with his Philadelphia win. It was as clutch as they come, with the next two rounds set to be an all-out showdown between he and Hunter Lawrence (Honda HRC Progressive). May the best man – and team – win!

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Justin Cooper topped 450SX qualifying, with those sessions contested in the dry. Conditions would change drastically for the night program.

Just former 450SX champion Chase Sexton commuting to work… Take note of the rain, as it’d quickly become a major theme in Pennsylvania.

The ever-dedicated fans of Monster Energy Supercross braved the elements inside Lincoln Financial Field.

Nick Romano went all the way in the opening 250SX heat race, taking the win and maximizing his opportunity with the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki squad. Originating from New York, it’s likely that Romano has some experience in the mud.

Another New York native returned in Philly, and that was Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati rider, Justin Barcia. We saw some BAMBAM moves throughout the event, including a couple of aggressive passes on Joey Savatgy while battling for the heat win.

Swap the number 37 for a 1E! Cole Davies is a 250SX champion – the first New Zealander to do so since Ben Townley in 2007.

And 250SX East title-combatant Seth Hammaker was there to congratulate Cole after the race – a classy move from someone who put up their best challenge.

Garrett Marchbanks and NFL Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins – who was the Grand Marshal of the event – chop it up before the action.

The start was more critical than usual in the mud, mainly because your vision could be shot from the very outset, which would make for a long race. It appeared that Roczen, Lawrence, and Cooper Webb got the memo, as they circulated the first turn at the front.

A heat race win and fourth in the main event was a solid result for Savatgy, who continues to be sneaky good throughout his career, and in Supercross 2026. Additionally, it’s a big result for Quad Lock Honda, as Shane McElrath (P6) and Dean Wilson (P8) made it three top-10 finishes for the team. Respect!

It was yet another close, but no cigar, moment for defending 450SX champion Cooper Webb in Philadelphia. Try as he might, he just doesn’t seem to be able to claw his way back into this title fight up front. He’s holding on by a thread at 24 points down, and will need some serious help to have a shot at back-to-back crowns.
