Bud Racing has announced its 2022 FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) rider line-up, with Cedric Soubeyras and Gregory Aranda to race in the premier class as Matt Moss and Chris Blose will compete in SX2.

33-year-old Soubeyras is a former French supercross and European motocross champion, while Aranda has domestic titles in Germany and France to his credit.

After scoring MX1 podiums onboard a YZ450F in the 2022 Penrite ProMX Championship, multiple Australian motocross and supercross champion Moss makes the switch to Kawasaki and will race a quarter litre for the first time in roughly 10 years.

With extensive experience, Blose too boasts his share of SX success and is the most recent winner of the Australian SX2 title.

“These four riders are incredibly versatile, each having success across a variety of racing formats, while also bringing extensive experience racing internationally in Europe and Australia, two of the regions we will be visiting in this pilot season for WSX,” said Bud Racing team principal Stéphane Dassé.

“The opportunity to expand supercross on a global level and compete for new fans in new countries is extremely motivating for us. We believe we have the talent to not only be competitive, but to capture a World Championship, and we’re determined to prove that.”

The 2022 WSX Championship commences with the British GP at Principality Stadium, Cardiff on 8 October.
