An 11th-hour rider change at Venum Bud Racing Kawasaki will see American Justin Hill replaced by Luke Clout across the closing two rounds of the 2025 World Supercross Championship (WSX).

Hill has struggled to find form across the opening three rounds, sitting ninth in the SX1 standings after recording 12th overall at the Australian GP alongside a pair of P11 results in Argentina and Canada.

The 30-year-old has since withdrawn from WSX ahead of Stockholm, with highly-rated Australian Clout instead drafted in to complete the series onboard the Bud Racing KX450. He will team up with Spaniard Ander Valentin in Sweden, before Matt Moss – who is racing in India this weekend – returns for South Africa.

Clout finished fifth in this year’s AUSX SX1 standings, while also claiming second overall at the Paris Supercross last month with Bud Racing in SX2. It’s understood that he is working toward an international supercross-only deal for 2026.

Hill, who finished eighth in the Monster Energy Supercross 450SX standings this season with a total of 11 top 10 finishes across the 17 rounds with Team Tedder riding KTM machinery, is expected to redirect his focus toward preparing for the upcoming 2026 SMX season.
