An updated new team roster has been named by Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha for the 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship, with returning riders Parker Ross, Dilan Schwartz, and Leo Tucker to be joined by Lux Turner.

With factory support from Yamaha entering a second term together, BarX will focus on the 250SMX category, inclusive of Monster Energy Supercross and Pro Motocross.

“I am thrilled with the talented line-up of riders we have for the 2026 SMX season and look forward to the opportunity to work with each of them and bring continued success to Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha,” team manager Bradley Taft commented.

“We made major strides as a team last season, and that experience, combined with the influx of talent we have for the new YZ250F, is going to give us an opportunity to enjoy our best season yet. January can’t come soon enough!”

Ross, 20, first joined BarX leading into Pro Motocross this year, now preparing for a full season onboard the YZ250F. The 23-year-old Schwartz, meanwhile, finished 12th in 250SMX and 11th at the conclusion of the post-season this year.

As for Turner, also 20, he’s been making headlines in the Australian AUSX Supercross Championship since switching to Yamaha and will also be equipped with the YZ250F in the US for 2026 after claiming 10th in 250SX West and 12th in 250SMX this season with AEO Powersports KTM.

The 2026 season will signal a return to action for Tucker, the 19-year-old who has endured an extended battle with Epstein-Barr virus. 450 rider Derek Drake remains with the team as well, but will focus on his ongoing battle against Lyme disease – both targeting a return outdoors.

In addition, Californian prospects Nathan Abbott and Cole Timboe will compete in SMX Next as part of the Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha development program.
