KTM has launched its upgraded 2026 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition and 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION line, highlighted by the addition of WP Pro Components suspension and serving as the base for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s entry into the SMX World Championship.

The FACTORY EDITION concept continues to deliver on KTM’s promise of taking a true race replica experience into production. Both models combine cutting-edge performance, advanced electronics, and signature race styling – aligning with Eli Tomac, Aaron Plessinger, Jorge Prado and Julien Beaumer’s race team machinery.

The defining feature of the FACTORY EDITION models for 2026 are WP Pro Components suspension, marking the first time KTM has introduced its top-tier package directly into production. The WP XACT PRO 7548 front fork and WP XACT PRO 8950 shock deliver benchmark precision and adjustability, providing riders with factory-level feel and performance straight from the showroom.

WP’s 48 mm cone valve fork features a shim-less design with a 310 millimeter stroke and 23 millimeter piston diameter, offering a wide range of tuning options to suit rider size, skill, and terrain. The matching WP rear shock complements the fork perfectly, ensuring maximum traction and stability across varying track conditions while maintaining balanced handling.

At the core of the 2026 FACTORY EDITIONs are KTM’s compact, mass-centralized single-cylinder engines, paired with lightweight, hydro-formed, laser-cut, and robot-welded steel frames and hollow die-cast aluminum swingarms. These foundations ensure optimal rigidity and flex characteristics, while details such as CNC-machined triple clamps, Brembo hydraulic clutch and brakes, ODI lock-on grips, wide no-mud footrests, Quickshifter, and traction and launch control underline the FACTORY EDITION’s race-focused DNA. Both models are also equipped with the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), allowing riders to fine-tune settings via the KTMconnect App for personalized performance and data insight.

Engineering throughout the intake, airbox, and fuel-injection systems ensures optimal throttle response and efficiency. KTM continues its collaboration with Akrapovic, fitting each Factory Edition with a lightweight titanium slip-on muffler that meets the latest FIM and AMA sound regulations without compromising the signature KTM power delivery.

Each FACTORY EDITION also receives a selection of up-spec components inspired by KTM’s factory race bikes, enhancing both performance and durability. These include factory triple clamps, frame protectors, a ribbed factory seat cover, carbon protection parts, and the signature orange rear sprocket. The package is completed by the distinctive black DID DirtStar wheels with orange hubs and the premium Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires.

As expected, the 2026 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs feature the latest Red Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics and detailing, complete with an orange FACTORY EDITION frame, black wheels, and orange seat. Riders can also choose between official race numbers, including those of Eli Tomac and Aaron Plessinger, adding to the FACTORY EDITION’s authentic race-ready appeal.

The 2026 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION and 2026 KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION will be available at KTM authorized dealers from December 2025.
