250SX champion no longer listed for Australian GP appearance.
Reigning two-time 250SX East champion Tom Vialle is absent from the latest World Supercross Championship (WSX) list of wildcards, the Frenchman having previously been named for the Australian Grand Prix next month.
The 24-year-old was initially set to make his WSX debut on the Gold Coast, joining Eli Tomac and Cooper Webb, now along with Haiden Deegan, as wildcards for the Cbus Super Stadium event.
However, Vialle’s name has since been omitted from an updated wildcard roster released this week, while his profile has also been removed from the WSX website.
The timing coincides with the dual MX2 world champion’s departure from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing after a highly-successful seven-year tenure, with Vialle strongly linked to a return to the MXGP World Championship with Team HRC upon transitioning to the premier division.
No official statement has been made by either Vialle or WSX regarding the change, leaving uncertainty over whether fans will see the French rider in action on November 29.
