Damaged hand confirmed following afternoon qualifying incident.
Current 250SX West points-leader Jo Shimoda will attempt to line up at San Diego’s second round of the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross Championship tonight, despite injuring his left hand in qualifying earlier today.
The Honda HRC Progressive rider soared to a convincing opening round victory at Anaheim 1 last weekend, wearing the red plates this afternoon as a result.
However, the 22-year-old Japanese rider exited the second session at Snapdragon Stadium early and it’s since been confirmed that he damaged the fingers on his left hand, but intends to line up when the night program commences shortly.
