Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki announced that Ty Masterpool will contest the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship with the team. The team had planned to just have Levi Kitchen under the tent to start the series as Cameron McAdoo, Seth Hammaker, Austin Forkner, and Max Vohland are all out with injury, but Masterpool will make it two riders aboard the team when racing commences on Saturday.

Masterpool was slated to race the 450 class of AMA Pro Motocross this season with HBI Racing Kawasaki, the team in which he had been on since last year. His 2023 Pro Motocross season was very strong as he finished P7 in the standings and battled in the top five on a number of occasions.

Now he returns to a factory 250 class race team again having previously made his professional debut with the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing program. Since no timetable has been established on any of Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s injured riders returning to racing, it seems this deal for Masterpool places him alongside Kitchen for the long haul of the series.
