Fox Raceway will mark the return to action of Christian Craig following an extended time off the bike, but the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider intends to keep ‘building throughout the season’ with limited preparation.

Craig has largely been impacted by injury since joining Husqvarna last year, undergoing further surgery on his troubled elbow in March, but being declared fit for the opening round of Pro Motocross 2024.

After finishing fifth in the 2022 450MX standings, Craig missed last year altogether outdoors, before returning for Supercross. He only made it through six rounds with a best finish of sixth in Glendale prior to pulling out of Arlington and opting to further repair his re-aggravated right elbow.

“I’m excited to get this outdoor season started,” Craig explained. “Unfortunately, we won’t be coming in with a lot of time on the bike after dealing with this elbow injury for a while, but nonetheless I’m looking forward to getting some gate drops and building throughout the season. The bike is in a good spot already, so let’s get the season going!”

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Manager, Nathan Ramsey, added: “We’re excited to have Christian back, coming off an injury. The goal for him is to get started and build as the series goes on into the middle stages of the season.”
