SX Global, the promotional organization for the World Supercross Championship, has announced they have signed a new 10-year deal with the FIM to promote WSX through 2033. The deal comes after a few weeks of speculation following the apparent departure of former SX Global CEO Adam Bailey, but SX Global’s new deal shows the series still has intentions of continuing as planned.

“We look forward to continuing to expand and promote the FIM WSX, as we seek innovative and exciting ways to bring the sport to the loyal existing fanbase, while welcoming new audiences from across the globe,” said SX Global Co-Owner Kyril Louis Dreyfus.

This new deal essentially adds on to the original deal SX Global struck with the FIM back in 2021. Now they have the rights to promote the series through the end of the 2033 season for now.

“[SX Global’s] vision is highly impressive, and the long-term success of this series is in safe hands,” said FIM President Jorge Viegas.

No schedule has been announced for the 2024 season of WSX just yet, but signs now point to a schedule coming soon.
