For the second time in 2024, Haiden Deegan claimed victory in the 250SX main event as he picked up the win in Foxborough. It was a wire-to-wire win for the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing rider as he grabbed the lead early and took off out front to lead every single lap.

Deegan came through the first corner of the main event side by side with Red Bull KTM’s Tom Vialle. As they went down the first rhythm section, Deegan was able to nose ahead and take the lead while Vialle was left to settle into second place. Coming up into third place early in the race was Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Cameron McAdoo who quickly latched on to the lead group. Within a few laps, McAdoo made the move around Vialle to get into second place and the points leader tried to reel in Deegan ahead of him.

Eventually, Deegan would slowly pull away en route to the victory while McAdoo was left to settle for second place. The result did extend McAdoo’s championship lead out to four points over Vialle who rounded out the podium, while Deegan moved up to third in the standings over Pierce Brown.

Brown aboard his Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas brought home another fourth place finish as he battled it out with FirePower Honda’s Max Anstie, eventually sealing the spot off. Anstie had won his heat race early in the night and had high hopes for the main event, but just didn’t have the same speed as he had in the heat race and was left to round out the top five.

Behind them, it was Coty Schock (Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha) in sixth, Daxton Bennick (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing) in seventh, Jalek Swoll (Triumph Racing) in eighth, Marshal Weltin (Rock River Yamaha) in ninth, and Henry Miller (TiLube Honda) rounding out the top 10.

Next up for the 250SX East contingent is the 250SX East/West Showdown in Nashville next week. For the first time in 2024, the top 250SX talent will face off against each other and it comes right as the 250SX East series tightened up just a bit more.
