It was a perfect night in every sense of the word for Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Levi Kitchen as he swept all three races of the 250SX Triple Crown in St. Louis on Saturday night. The win was Kitchen’s third victory of 2024 and launches him out to a 15 point lead in the championship with only three rounds remaining.

Each of the three races looked like a repeat of the prior as Kitchen was able to holeshot from the preferred middle gate each time. Other than battling with Red Bull KTM’s Julien Beaumer early on in Race 1, Kitchen was truly unmatched all evening long.

Second place on the night was Honda HRC’s Jo Shimoda who had solid 2-3-3 scores push him to his best finish of the year. Shimoda had some of his best starts all year, but none of them put him right up front from the green flag. He did beat Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Jordon Smith in two of the three races though as Smith rounded out the podium with 3-2-4 scores.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s RJ Hampshire needed a big night in St. Louis to claw points back on Kitchen, but instead landed off the podium for the third time this year with a fourth place finish. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Nate Thrasher rounded out the top five as the top five overall really had a big of separation from everyone else in each of the three races.

Garrett Marchbanks (Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha) finished up in P6 overall ahead of Julien Beaumer in seventh, Ryder DiFrancesco (Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas) in eighth, Carson Mumford (MotoConcepts Racing Honda) in ninth, and Talon Hawkins (AEO Powersports KTM) rounding out the top 10.

The 250SX West series now has a three week break until action resumes in late April at Nashville for the first East-West Showdown. Levi Kitchen’s points lead and back-to-back dominating wins has now established himself as the clear favorite for the title as the series heads into its’ stretch run of the championship.
