The build-up to the inaugural trio of SuperMotocross World Championship Finals series rounds is no more with the first post-season race in the history of professional motocross racing in the books. The usual contenders visited Charlotte’s ZMax Dragway with the aim of being the first SMX winners, setting up a competitive day at the unique venue, and in the end it was Chase Sexton (Team Honda HRC) and Jo Shimoda (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) who won the overalls. The podium finishers spoke to media post-race in the Press Conference.
