TLD Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing will undergo sweeping personnel changes for 2023, with the staple line-up Justin Barcia, Michael Mosiman and Pierce Brown to be equipped with the all-new Factory Edition models.

Entering its third season of Supercross and Pro Motocross racing in the US, the outfit welcomes Max Lee on board as team manager, with longtime occupant of the role Tyler Keefe taking on a more strategic role with TLD as director of motorsports.

“I would like to thank Roger De Coster, Tyler Keefe, my father [Troy Lee], and everyone else who has guided me and given me this opportunity,” said Max Lee. “Words cannot express how excited I am to work full-time for the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing team, it is a dream come true for me and my family. I am thankful to be surrounded by great people and I’m looking forward to an amazing season with this team.”

Alongside Lee’s transition to team manager, Olly Stone will step into the position of crew chief and take on a more comprehensive technical role, overseeing the day-to-day operations of testing and preparation of the race bikes.

Regarding the rider roster, Barcia (450cc), Brown and Mosiman (250cc) will remain on their respective capacities, but will be bolstered by the all- new 2023 MC 250F and MC 450F Factory Editions, the models essentially bringing GasGas closer in line with the latest platforms used by KTM and Husqvarna which were introduced by the manufacturers for the 2022 season.

Gate drop for the opening round of the 2023 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship is less than a month away, with the season commencing at Anaheim on 7 January.
