The rider lineup for Kawasaki’s factory racing teams on American soil will look familiar in 2023, with the premier class duo of Jason Anderson and Adam Cianciarulo returning along with a six-rider Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki roster.

The Monster Energy Supercross, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship and all-new SuperMotocross World Championship seasons in 2023 will see Cianciarulo compete on a Kawasaki KX450SR for the fourth year.

Anderson, meanwhile, will aim to improve his final position of second in the 2022 450SX standings during his second go-around with Monster Energy Kawasaki.

Six riders will line up for Kawasaki’s Mitch Payton-led 250 program next year, with Jo Shimoda, Austin Forkner, Cameron McAdoo, Seth Hammaker, and Jett Reynolds to be joined by Kawasaki Team Green graduate Ryder DiFrancesco for his first full professional season.

Injuries sidelined Cianciarulo, Forkner, McAdoo, Hammaker and Reynolds at various points during the ongoing 2022 season, giving the team plenty of reason to look ahead to a fresh start at Anaheim in January.

After a successful Pro Motocross debut at Redbud, DiFrancesco will look to join the factory Kawasaki team for the full season outdoors in 2023.

“We are confident with our team roster for 2023,” said Kawasaki Racing senior manager Dan Fahie. “The success we shared with Jason in both Supercross and motocross is promising as we look to the upcoming unified SuperMotocross World Championship. We’re also very optimistic about Adam’s return to the starting gate as he’s proven to be a top contender at the premier level.”

Following the completion of the standard indoor and outdoor seasons, the eight-rider Kawasaki squad will turn its attention to SuperMotocross, which will conclude with the finals at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on 14 October.
