The latest innovation from TLD refines safety, speed and style.
Fine-tuned for elite athletes looking for a competitive edge, the 2022 Troy Lee Designs SE5 helmet is sculpted with speed in mind and every surface has been designed to deliver efficiency while promoting peak performance.
Available in two options – the SE5 Carbon and the SE5 Composite, the SE5 helmet by TLD continues to raise standards and refine safety, speed and style.
Tested and developed by top athletes, new features include a larger air intake from the mouthpiece and side gills for increased airflow, the collarbone mitigation system to provide impact relief to the upper shoulder/collarbone area and improved smart shear visor screws to help prevent the visor from breaking during a crash.
The SE5 Carbon ($675) features an optimized layup carbon shell, lightweight titanium D-rings, dual-density EPS, in-molded MIPS brain protection system.
Weighing at 1350g DOT/ECE, 1160g ECE only, the SE5 Carbon also boasts EPP chin-bar liner with collarbone suspension system, quick release XT2 3D cheek pads and a X-Static/XT2 washable liner, as smart shear plastic visor screws are incorporated for easy impact break-away.
Three shell sizes and five color options ensure the SE5 provides quality comfort and style.
The SE5 Composite ($475) is also available in three shell sizes, but comes in six color options and features an aerospace fiberglass composite shell.
The SE5 Composite weighs at 1470g DOT/ECE, 1300g ECE only, and features lightweight stainless steel d-rings, dual-density EPS, in-molded MIPS brain protection system.
